Job Description:

We are seeking a Warehouse Break Bulk team member to join our dynamic and growing organization in Gastonia, NC. As a Warehouse Break Bulk employee, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Work Schedule:

• 4am to 12:30pm Monday through Friday
• 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive and Inspect Shipments: Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents. Inspect packages for any damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.
2. Break Bulk Operations: Break down palletized shipments into individual items or smaller units as required. Repackage, label, and organize items for storage or further distribution.
3. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and track the movement of products within the warehouse. Ensure proper shelving and storage of items.
4. Shipping and Distribution: Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely, labeling, and coordinating with carriers for pick-ups. Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
5. Quality Control: Maintain a high level of quality control by ensuring that products are handled, stored, and shipped in compliance with company standards.
6. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations in the warehouse environment. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a warehouse or break bulk role is preferred, but not required.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as necessary.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and company policies.
